Buried deep: Nearly 30 graves containing possible plague victims uncovered in Tula, Russia

The remains of the 18th-century Krestovozdvizhenskaia Church and around 30 graves were excavated in the Russian city of Tula. The coffins were carved out of solid pieces of wood, which could indicate that the deceased were victims of plague.
