Israeli PM Netanyahu puts African migrants deal with UN on hold

The African migrant deal between Israel and the UN is on hold. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu announced this temporary suspension of the deal through Facebook.

He said the earlier agreement failed because Rwanda pulled out, and will revise the terms and conditions of the deal after knowing the opinions of the Israelis.

The UN-Israel deal was supposed to give African migrants residency in Israel.Some of the 16,250 African migrants, believed to have gone to Israel illegally, would be moved to Western nation, according to the deal.

This plan had replaced the massive deportation policy.
